Olga Khodataeva
DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY:
Olga Khodatayeva was a soviet director, screenwriter, production designer. Graduated from the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Worked as a graphic artist. From 1924 works in animation. Whilst in a team of an animation workshop with GTK, participated in the work on the film «Mezhplanetnaya Revolutsiya» (Interplanetary Revolution), then worked in the factories of «Mezhrabpom-Rus', «Sovkino» («Soyuzkino», «Mosfilm»). In 1936-1960 is a director of the film studio «Soyuzmultfilm». Made many films in cooperation with artist and director Petr Nosov. Was a member of the artistic council of «Soyuzmultfilm». Director of over 30 animated works.
Leonid Aristov
DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY:
Leonid Aristov was a soviet director, production designer. In 1939, was accepted into VGIK to the Faculty of Arts, but studied there for only two weeks, as he was drafted into the military and was only able to graduate from the institute in 1951. From 1941 he fought in the Great Patriotic War. He was a scout. Came back in 1945 and resumed his studies. In 1951-1971 worked in «Soyuzmultfilm» as a production designer and director. In 1971-1979 - director in an animation studio of the Creative Association «Ekran». His best film on TV was a stop motion musical «Volk i semero kozlyat na novyy lad» with music by Alexey Rybnikov. One of the founders of the television animation studio 'Creative Association «Ekran». Author of over 20 animated pictures.
